The client has a system that uses Sybase SQL Anywhere 5.0, there are no updates or enhancements available for the product and the developer is not willing/able to improve the product.

Therefore the clients head office wants to either a) receive a database copy, analyse and report on the data or b) run a routine to open the database and create an export.

Obviously with b) I would be running on the pc with the ODBC driver but I need to write the utility and realistically need it working on my development machine.
