>>What I do see is the owners (i.e., the tax payors) being ruthlessly exploited by the workers in the public sector unions who think that they are entitled to their health care and pensions without having to contribute one single penny to them like those of us in the private sector are required to do.
Isn't healthcare seen as an employment benefit in the private sector as well? Don't many (most?) company employees prefer employer insurance to the extra salary they could otherwise expect?
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
