One thing you can say is that Muslims are very proud of who they are, so systematic demonization seems likely to create a rod for your own back.

I'm not sure why these guys can't separate extremism from the religion and why they only apply this logic to Islam. (perhaps just ignorant prejudice???) Right wing extremists in the U.S. with strong ties to fundamentalist Christianity (american Taliban) have struck (atlanta olympics, McVeigh, etc) and are growing in numbers in the form of Militias. Should we say, because of them, all Christianity are guilty??? How about the molesting priests and the Catholic leadership protecting them... should we blame all of Christianity for this evil???
