No, it's because of the polisemy of English, i.e. one word having multiple meanings, combined with very little morphology - no cases, declensions, conjugations to speak of. So the same phrase can mean very different things, depending on a comma, or presence of definite, indefinite or no article. Over the years I've gathered a long list of things which can be understood in different ways, and another one where the translation forth and back can screw the original so even its mom wouldn't recognize it.
