Romney just gave the middle finger to independent voters. Typical politician...please those who will already vote for you. Today was a victory for the Obama campaign. There will be another one come election day.

>As has been widely speculated the past few days, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin is Mitt Romney's choice as VP. He is the House budget director and a leading voice of sharp spending cuts to balance the budget. Reportedly Mitt's short list consisted of more moderate choices from battleground states until the Tea Party and other hard right Republicans pushed hard for Ryan. Of course, Wisconsin is itself a battleground state.
