Hi Thomas

Will do. Need to get one free server machine to start really playing with it.

You are absolutely right! Most of us are actually chair warriors when it comes to new technologies.
I am no exception to this. For most part I really do not have time, so I cherish every good input
from people (Like you and HankF) who do find time to do evaluation / exploration efforts as well.

>It is easy to say "my customers cannot bear this" arguing from previous biz model influenced by vfp cost structure

I have no problem with pricing as I do not sell any software. What is important to me is how easy I can handle my requirements and how reliable it will be all together. Idea of having fully blown high-scale database (Recital) that is directly manipulated by language (Lianja platform) is very appealing to me. Imagine If M$ did this with VFP/MSSQL. It would have been freaking blast! :)

>Jump in, play with it - I do it mostly at the biz/db level, others at GUI -
>but give it the same chances you gave vfp when it steered away from known FP ways.

Will sure do.
