Never mind. Found the SET CHECK clause to set up a record validation rule and that takes care of the job.

>We recently added a "last modified" field to all of our tables in our database for time-stamping purposes in case we need to resynchronize data records as of a certain point in time. What we would like to do is populate this field with DATETIME() whenever the corresponding record gets updated. These tables already have an update trigger defined.
