I would not spend the time it takes to download, install, code and then try to figure out what's wrong with your code. That could take quite a while. FlexGrid is a great control for a free one, we used it for a while before we switched to Telerik. You need to read, think, and try the sample as is, without any of your other assumptions and go step by step -- just like the rest of us do without expecting the users here to solve all of our problems....

I expected it will be a reply from you :) Sure I can read, etc. and I've been trying to have this control invoked from another view for several days already and still haven't succeeded and that's why I almost came to conclusion (except for final thing I am going to try) that it simply can not work the way I want it.

But just in case since you used it - have you been able to invoke it as a partial view from another view - or you used it standalone?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
