I agree with Craig. I've put that product VS2012 thru torture with no issues with it.
I have, however written some apps with it that froze things up badly, so it will let me do evil things.
ASP apps do things that Win Form apps don't do and the app might be finding environmental issues that have not previously surfaced and yes, the web server matters.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
