I think MS has managed to shoot themselves once again, not just with another 'Vista', but by pissing off potential tablet and mobile customers by trying to shove Win8 Metro desktop upon them.

I'm actually pretty satisfied with VS2012. Once again MS changed the interface and icons for no reason whatsoever, but I've managed to get over it.

Without minor hacking (using 3rd party hacks), you can't get over Metro.
