Hi Beth,
We have run into VSS being slow too and it seems to always be a problem when two developers are doing something with VSS at the same time. They could both just be opening their project, and it would bog down and take a minute or so to open the project. We have only had a problem with VSS being slow in that situation.
We are using VFP 6 and VSS 6 and have installed Visual Studio SP1.
Our VSS database resides on an NT 4.0 Server.
Our developers run on Win NT 4.0 Workstation, Win 98, and Win 95.
We use several different network cards, not sure which.
