It makes it so much clearer at a glance what's going on there. Without that leading period, it's a question ... is this a property by itself, or is it part of the WITH? It's unnecessary. I've read estimate where 30+% of our brains are dedicated to processing visual stimuli. There's no reason not to use it. :-)
