>>>It clearly states that you're supposed to believe that Jesus is NOT god,
>>>but the SON of god. If you need references for that let me know.

>>John 1:1-2 - KJV - "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God."
>>John 1:14 - KJV - "14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
>>
>>Jesus is the Word of Truth, the living Word. He is God.
>>
>>>>God is real. Jesus is real. Jesus sets men free from death. Jesus saves,
>>>>and He saves all who will come to Him. Without exception.
>>>yawwwwn. blah blah blah repeating things does not turn them into facts.
>>
>>Jesus does that Himself. His written word is living and active, because it comes from Him. His words are Spirit and they are truth and they move in ways other words do not.
>>
>>He calls out. He has the power to set men free. He has the power to forgive, to save from Hell.

>tsk tsk tsk. Nope - there is nowhere in the bible that I can recall where Jesus says "yo I'm god" or "worship me".

>* 1Corinthians 8:5-6: "For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords"), yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live."

>* John 14:28: "You heard me say,'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I."
>* John 17:20-23: "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."
>* John 20:17: "Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them,'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
>* Acts 7:55-56: "But he (Stephen), being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."
>* Colossians 1:15: "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation."
>* 1Corinthians 15:24-28: "Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he "has put everything under his feet." Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all."

But what bothers me most about this is that in the end, its entire foundation is old set of scrolls, which may be nothing more than the very first Sci Fi book ever written - or, who knows, maybe not the first. Everyone, I'm sure, has read "A Canticle for Leibowitz".

For reasons I cannot hope to understand, there are people who believe that belief in one God makes sense where belief in more than one God is mythology.
