It's specified as a 'TEXT" type with a maxlength of 8 and people are having issues changing the value in the field. I'm guessing from your response that if I change it to a "DATE" type I can remove the maxlength?


I don't suppose there is the equivalent of 'select on entry' in HTML is there?
