Well, this is the "Chatter -> Religion" area, so I'll respond accordingly.

There is evil in this world because of sin. Period. Sin causes men to do wrong things, incorrect things, harmful things. And there is a powerful enemy, a spirit, Satan, who is leading the entire world astray along with many fallen angels who are causing everything to be misued, not used according to God's plans.

The Bible sees sin as the enemy. Period. Those who are the enemies of God embrace sin instead of following God's guidance, God's instruction, God's perfect will purposefully with their lives, instead pursuing their own personal wants, even denying God's righteousness and encouraging and enticing others to do the same.

Will God send some people to Hell forever? Really? A loving God? Yes. Absolutely He will. He will do this because of who He is. He is literal truth and everything everywhere is made perfect by the way He's set it up and is directing it. But because people reject God, everything about Him, and look to their own paths, thereby remaining at war with God throughout the entirety of their lives, God will put them away forever.

We have to remember that we were made in the image of God, in His likeness. This is no trifle. Not even the angels were made as we were. And He did not spare the angels, and He will not spare us. But He has made a way out of this end for all who will receive it. It is His Son, His own sacrifice at the cross, His death which paid the price of all our sins once and for all. It is a gift He extends to all who will receive it, because He doesn't want any of us to go there ... yet He knows that it is by our own choosing every day that we choose to go there. Everybody knows God truly exists, knows that Jesus is truly God, the Savior, and they deny Him outwardly, even while inwardly knowing the truth.

God is who God is. He cannot be denied. And He makes Himself known to everybody everywhere, in every language, at every place on the Earth, in every circumstance, without exception. He is God Almighty, and this is the way He has outlined, His way, His mission, His goal, to save all who will be saved.

It is sin that is cited continually throughout the book of Revelation. Jesus speaks to the churches warning them about not doing what God has commanded, i.e. engaging in sin. He warns that all people everywhere should repent, and cites that in the very end times none do. That there will be a blindness over people's eyes that because of their lust for sin God gave them over to depravity, that they cannot know the truth.

The "religion" you talk about is the practiced rituals of the members a a world-wide decadent society that does not look to God, will not look to God, and ultimately cannot look to God in the end times. They are people marching blindly, unknowingly, fully, headlong to their own destruction.

And many people who read the Bible also have no clue about these things, because they aren't seeking to know the truth about what it says, but are going in with an agenda looking for confirmation of their prior beliefs.
