>Hey, you'll have to eat that later. You have to count on losing some of the crop to bugs, which is still less than taxes. As soon as the plant is stronger than what damage the bugs can do, the bugs usually vanish, they've done their thing (laid eggs for the next season, I guess) and are gone. And for the fruit trees, there's the classic whitewashing (krečiš stablo) the trunk.
