My thoughts exactly.
But (there's always one, right?), I wonder if M$ should voice it.
I mean, how can you sell a software if you're always promising a next version?
How can you say "Here, buy this one. We're developing a better version, and then you buy it again."?
It's been M$ policy (and very well, IMO) to say wonders of the newest version and the worse about the previous. This with all their software.
I don't think they can say that the current version is crap and that the future version is a lot better. Big Bill wouldn't be so rich, I guarantee you.
