Yes, I went to the SQL Server 7.0 'brainwashing' launch yesterday where Steve Balmer talked about how slow 6.5 was but he wanted us to concentrate on the what they are delivering now. The two things that impressed me was the number of large companies using SS7 beta in production and one query a customer talked about that took 14 minutes in 6.5 and about a 1 min. in SS7.

Just some more competition for VFP!
