I was fortunate enough to hear Carville in a debate with Karl Rove at a convention in New Orleans in April. IMO Carville wiped the floor with him. (Of course I would think that). Carville was cool, calm, and collected and Rove was uptight.

The headline speaker was Bill Clinton. It was an IT health conference and he lived up to his reputation as a wonk. He knew his stuff. I don't care what you think about his politics or his philandering, he is a world class thinker. I was a little irritated at two of the guys who shared the booth with me. They are arch conservative, which is fine. You are arch conservative and that's OK. They refused to go listen to Bill Clinton speak even though it was during a noon break and it was free. To me if you have the opportunity to listen to a two term American President speak for free you take it. I would listen to George Bush even though I didn't agree with him about a thing.
