That will work, but you shouldn't have to do that. I have never seen a MessageBox displayed behind the form that calls it.

I like Mel's suggestion of creating an extremely short form that does nothing but display a MessageBox. That will indicate whether it is a MessageBox issue or something else. Maybe the OCX, as Gregorio speculates.
