I was following this thread and I can imagine it's somewhat of a pain to deal with those issues that were in desktop applications no issues at all. I was thinking if not some of those difficulties would be easier to control when using third party controls, like for example Teleric ASP controls?
Perhaps somebody has experience using those tools and shed some light on how helpful those would be in practice.

I would really like to know what we have to expect when we would try to build applications using ASP technology with HTML5. This was actually the thing that we liked so much with Silverlight, because having a plugin you can control as much as we could do on the desktop.

>With HTML5, this was suppose to be easier to get the same look across browsers. While this is the case, it is not as easy as it should be. I will illustrate something. Maybe someone can tell me if this is as much as I can do to have a similar look or there is a way to adjust to achieve that goal.
