Almost correct.

Memo fields are allocated in blocks. You can adjust this with SET BLOCKSIZE. If the changed memo will not fit in the allocated space for it, it will be completely rewritten.


>Every time you change a memo field, a new record is created in the FTP. The old memo field is NOT reused. In other words, try to avoid using memo fields for continuously changing data.
