>>Joke was referring to church effectively 'spicing it up' for people by preaching that sex is a 'sin' and thus giving it appeal of forbidden fruit.
>>(Something like what prohibition did to alcohol consumption back in 30ies)
>>I am sure everybody around here is thrilled that sexual revolution took place back in late 60ies, but imagine if 1968 happened few centuries back;

>Sex is not a sin. The Lord commanded, "Be fruitful and multiply." Sex outside of lawful marriage is a sin. Fornication is sin. Unnatural sex is sin.

>Why? It is the earthly example of the godly, eternal relationship between God and man. There is a movie based off a book in the Bible (Hosea) called "Amazing Love". Is on Netflix. It tells of a prophet named Hosea who was told by God to marry a woman named Gomer, one who would not be faithful to him. Yet because he loved her so much, in the end he bought her back for everything he had. Fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer of barley, and a half homer of barley.

What is the distinction you are making between sex (not a sin) and fornication (sin)? i thought they were one and the same.

>Is a tremendous love story conveying in understandable terms God's great love for His most awesome creation, and the continuously unfaithful bride of Christ: man.
