The only lawful sex as God commanded is between a husband and wife. He wrote, "The marriage bed is undefiled." And marriage is from vows to one of them dies. There is / was no divorce in God's original plan. Moses and Paul allowed divorce because men's hearts are hard, but it was never intended to be in God's purpose -- again symbolic of His true, unwavering, eternal love for us, His creation.

Many things we have as traditions relate back to that eternal marriage between God and His bride (the church).

The enemy (Satan) teaches many false things. And they permeate society's consciousness. God even says i. scripture, "My people die for lack of knowledge." He is referring to eternal death there in Hell. People go to their grave believing false things because they would not hear or believe the truth.
