Joy,

This is a bug, the cause of it is the PRG you are stopping in the debugger is not in the current directory. There is no way short of shutting down VFP to get the changed code working. If you can at least temporarily move the PRG you won't have to shutdown VFP entirely to get it recompile the file.

>I've got a stubborn FXP file that doesn't seem to want to "let go. . ." It's VFP 5, and I don't usually to PRG's in 5, but this is an exception. I run the PRG 1 which runs this PRG 2, and they compile before they run. I make changes to PRG 2 (usually after stopping it from the Debug window). I run again and it says "source is out of date" when it goes to run PRG 2. I have tried close all/clear all, but nothing seems to work except quitting VFP and coming back in. When I DELETE FILE PRG2.PRG it says that it's in use, even after a close all/clear all.
