Absolutely it does. If we stop defending liberty and give way to those pandering for security, we will lose. We have already lost a number of freedoms. I've always wanted to write a book entitled "Politics: The Incremental Destruction of America". It's like the old adage of boiling the frog. We have been subjected to incremental erosion of our freedoms since politics began.
