Oh...that's pretty. I've got a 1911 Colt Combat that I love and have had many, MANY offers for trades or sales. And I just keep saying 'No thanks - I like it too much.'
I've also got a IAI Skipper .40 purchased about 20 years ago - apparently before IAI went down the tubes. A wee bit more finicky than the .45 but a lot of fun nonetheless.

Took my wife out to a local gun club (and dealer) and picked up a Kimber Ultra Carry II 45ACP. She tried a bunch of smaller 9mm and .40 pistols, but the Kimber was amazingly accurate and had lower recoil than my original model 1911. They let us try about a dozen pistols at the indoor range - when she fired the Kimber, she just walked back to the counter and said "sold!".
