John posted on Facebook that his brother passed. There are no words good enough so I won't even try.

It would be nice to sleep through the 2 a.m. hour. My sleep habits are rotten. Actually they have become a habit, just not a good one. I go to bed early, sleep a few hours, wake up for an hour or two around this time, and then get the rest of my sleep. 7 or 8 hours straight would be a lot nicer. But this is petty grumbling compared to what John is going through. I encourage any and all to reach out to him. I don't have his phone number handy but don't imagine he is hard to find.
