My concern with such services is that they're surely a prime target for the NSA. Plus you're dependent upon them to keep your stuff safe. Look at what happened recently with hushmail.com http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2007/11/encrypted-e-mai/ http://www.cybercrimereview.com/2012/11/hushmail-provides-unencrypted-e-mails.html I think if you want secure email then something like PGP is your best bet.
