>>>Open you're eyes, there is abslutely no prove of any creator, therefore the answers is most likely found in science. But then again, as history has proven time after time again, religion has rejected science over and over again while time has proven science to be right, time after time. Therefore (most) relegion has proven to be the real evil in this world, the cancer that has to be destroyed/marginalised through education and awareness. I'm confident that we will succeed doing that in the generations to come.

>>Religion is one thing, personal faith is another. Religion is a man made institution that uses suppression and politics to dominate people. However, in practice science and religion (in political sense) are often walking hand in hand. Therefore it is important to make a difference between an evil religious system and a matter of personal faith (or opinion).

>>Not too long ago, "science" taught that the earth was flat. But the Bible says the earth is round. Religion and science have rejected this idea until somebody proved the Bible was correct in this point. There are a lot of scientific statements written thousands of years ago, which once have been rejected, but most recently all of those have been discovered to be true.

>Not quite exactly right. It's describes it as a "circle". Not a "sphere"...a circle. Meaning flat and round...like a pancake. Bible thumbers like to point to Isaiah 40:22, which says: "It is he who sits above the circle of the earth". In Job, the shape of the Earth is a little more specific, when it says that the "Earth takes shape like clay under a seal."
>This Isiah quote, the word "round" may be translated as "sphere" as well, but to be honest that doesn't make sense in the context, because in the next line he says he spreads over it like a tent. You spread a tent over a flat surface though, right?
>The bible also says the sky is a solid thing which rests on pillars:
>Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass? (Job 37:18)
>The pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he has set the world upon them. (1 Sam. 2:8)
>God shakes the earth out of her place, and its pillars tremble. (Job 9:6)
>The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. (Job 26:11)

>Note: The bible IS NOT A SCIENCE BOOK.

>The Bible not only failed to claim that the Earth was egg-shaped, but it also claimed in numerous verses that the earth is flat, has edges, has four corners, has pillars, and has foundations.

Christopher Columbus must have been mistaken then, but he did interpret the text in this way that the "circle" of the earth will enable him to sail west to India.
He did claim though that his strange idea came to him by reading the Bible, so in the least it did inspire him to do the unthinkable, while most others ridiculed him for this idea. On the other hand, the Bible also claimed that the earth hangs on nothing, contrary to the belief of sitting on a turtle which sits on an elephant. I am not saying the Bible is a scientific textbook, but it does contain information that is incredible accurate. It claimed that it can be night and day at the same time in different places on the earth, that there are rivers or streams in the ocean, that in order to avoid getting infectious diseases you must wash your hands under running water (which they did not know until the late 19th century) etc.

Some of these claims were used to prove the incorrectness of the Bible, for instance where it claims that people will be able to view an event from another location that is far away.

There will always be things that are not fully understood, but the same holds true for evolution, there are contradictions and unexplained theories as well. And there will always be evil people either using religion (inquisition) or using evolution (Hitler) to justify their evil deeds.
