>FWIW, around here, HS football mostly isn't played on Yom Kippur (or Christmas, of course, since HS football season is long over by then). When Yom Kippur lands Friday night/Saturday, most of the schools around here play Thursday night. This year, apparently, ours played Saturday night after the holiday.
