First - they actually talked about news and did these things called "journalism" and "reporting facts" - something that seems to of become more of a rare novelty with the USA news casts.

We just went though this a couple of months ago with the Boston bombings. ...they did the same stupid crap. And what did they learn from that? Well CNN president says that after the Boston bombing insanely poor reporting - they're viewer count went UP! So now this means that the best way for them to get better ratings is to report incorrect news. Guess what - I'm not watching it. Now I find one that is good and suddenly all the feeds are dead in USA and satellite signals are scrambled.

It just seems worse with every "news" outlet more concerned with putting something, anything out there in a scattershot effort to be able to claim they had the scoop first when 1 of their bazillion rumors turns out to be true.
