Take a look at the Samsung NP 900 series. With an SDD and bright screen, there is essentailly not a lot of difference between a laptop and an ultrabook. With a I5 or I7, Samsung SDD, strong duraluminium, bright high resolution screen, 12 mm thick, 1.2kg, but without DVD its better than all the laptops I had before.

Appart from a DVD it is way better than a regular laptop.
