Also, remember that much of this begin with an original bill from the House that had precious little to do with health care....Harry Reid basically rewrote the bill in the Senate but kept the original bill number. People who talk about Republican tactics right now, need to remember the heavy-handed tactics by Reid and Pelosi 4-5 years ago. You cannot jam a bill through congress without a single vote from the minority party, and not expect what's happening right now when the minority party gets some seats back (as they did in the House). Anyone who is surprised by what's happening is either very naïve or worse.


Also....on the note of challenges - there are upcoming arguments that will be heard in Federal court of appeals on the constitutionality - it was a bit of a victory in the summer that the upcoming challenge next month was even allowed to continue.

And that isn't bad enough, look at the developing story of Sarah Ingram Hall and other IRS officials providing taxpayer information and "legal advice" on the religious institutions who threatened to sue the administration over the contraception issue in AHCA. The details of this should, on principle, alarm every American citizen, given that Sarah Hall is now the IRS director for AHCA. The dots are more than connected right now - and the idea that the entire IRS story was nothing more than a few rogue agents in Cincinnati has been so thoroughly debunked.
