>We have an app in VFP9 using a grid with heaps of additional functionality... problem is that the most recent iteration seems to have crossed a threshold with visible sluggishness and problems with Drag-and-drop and keypress management. It was nice to push the grid so far, but the time has come to convert to something that supports variable row layouts, internal headers, node collapse/expand, multiple columns *with images* and other needs better. I know there's lots of options out there- but does anybody have recent personal experience of an ActiveX that works nicely with VFP for this sort of purpose? No need for data entry, it's just a display system that needs snappy performance as it handles keypresses, arrows, drag-and-drop, click/right-click. Effectively a multi-column treeview with maybe 200 rows.

We're using TList from Bennet-Tec, although we only used it for the TreeView, not for its grid functionality. You can take a quick look if it will match your needs or not. If you decide to go with it, you can mention that I provided that reference.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
