IMHO, and you can correct me if I am wrong, you are not the forum police. If Michel wants to make a rule that only technical content may be expressed in technical threads, that is certainly his prerogative. But it really is not up to you to decide what behavior is appropriate on the UT.

Also, I always thought that the point of posting answers in any technical forum was to help the person who posed the question as well as any lurkers who might have the same question. I never for a moment believed that it was to gain recognition for oneself. At least, that was the reason that I answered questions in the days when I was more active on-line.

Just my 2 cents. You may respond if you like, but this is the last thing I have to say on this subject. After all, I do not want to pollute a technical thread with any more non-technical posts <s>.
