>I have discovered "Scandal" (beginning on Netflix) and am very surprised it is much better than I had thought. Storyline quite interesting. A couple of the actors quite compelling. Definitely one like Breaking Bad where it is important to start with episode one and watch them in sequence.

I discovered Scandal on Netflix last year and watched the (7-episode) first season, but not in time to watch the second season as it was running. Watched those fairly quickly (those not quite binge-watching) at the end of this summer, so I can now watch season 3 as it goes (though never when it's actually on).

I loved the first season. Like so many other shows, I'm finding that after that, it's too much focus on the lives of the characters and not enough on what they do, which is the ostensible idea of the show. Kind of like a medical show that's all about the doctors instead of the medicine. But I'm still watching.

Charles, have you watched this year's new show "The Blacklist"? Seems like it would be up your alley.
