Why would I be asked to provide evidence that physicians support the ACA? I expressed no position on that at all. My point is that the size of "n" gives you low statistical power and high variance in most of these surveys that we all know are of most interest to those with an axe to grind. The authors didn't, but you are extrapolating such a self-selected 1% response to a majority and then building other stuff on it. That I don't agree with, especially when you shoot down the AMA because it represents "only" 2200% of the survey sample you prefer. If I were an Obama fanboi, I'd be delighted to see people resorting to this sort of thing to mount an attack. That's it.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
