A good idea gone bad.

I agree with all of your specific observations but disagree with this statement. It reminds me of college students saying, "the only reason communism hasn't worked is because we haven't tried it."

What you are seeing is generally what was planned. It really can't happen any other way. The American middle class and lower middle class are being used as pawns in a game towards complete government takeover. The White House was fully aware of most of the policy-related effects - they simply didn't realize the website would be such a disaster. Note Obama's comments..."I was burned by the website". Note the word "I". This is all about Barack Obama and his vision to transform this country into a "paradise".

Day after day, this is the administration's middle finger towards working American citizens, using services like the IRS and the FEC as the paramilitary wing of the DNC. As an example, the cancer patient Bill Elliot who lost his health coverage, openly criticized the Obama Administration on television, and suddenly was audited by the IRS. Additionally, the health insurance broker C. Steven Tucker stepped in to try to help Elliot, also criticized Obama, and is also being audited. The IRS knows they can do this and have millions of defenders stating, "well, many people get audited, it's just a coincidence". This is the IRS showing American people, "Criticize this president, and this is what we will do to you". They also did the same thing to Dr. Benjamin Carson (you know him, one of those "greedy doctors with a grudge against the guberment"), by auditing him shortly after his comments at the National Prayer Breakfast. And to top it off, the IRS chief counsel said, no less than 80 times, that he is not able to recall specific data points, conversations, emails, and other incidents involving a special dedicated channel of targeting Tea Party members and involving the IRS giving legal information to the White House, re: the lawsuits against the administration on the contraception mandates.

The connection between IRS enforcement, their tactics, and those taking these "good ideas" and putting them into practice is the most serious threat to politico-economic freedom in the history of this country. You can't implement this kind of "good idea" without the politics of force, which ultimately means the point of a gun. Period. You can either read Atlas Shrugged or watch this play out in America, because the end result is very likely to be the same.

It's one thing to turn a blind eye towards the nasty results, as some are doing. But surrendering to the philosophy that this is "a good idea gone bad" is, IMO, far worse.
