Not his advisors- by your own words, they don't count. Obama himself.

Before I answer this....consider something for a minute.

Do you realize how UTTERLY ABSURD...and I mean MIND-BLOWING, UTTERLY ABSURD it would be, for his top policy and political people/advisors to have a debate on a KEY message of his SIGNATURE legislation.....on a significant promise to the American people....being given by a president over and over again with such bold emphasis..."Let me be clear....make no mistake....Let me be clear...If you like your health care plan, you can keep it". .....while the entire time, the president has no understanding or awareness of the debate between his advisors.

(By the way, this would be completely inconsistent with the narrative provided by the White House on Obama's involvement with his advisors prior to the capture of bin Laden).

Unless you're about to tell me that Barack Obama was suffering from the early stages of dementia, as Reagan might have during 1986-1987....the context doesn't pass any sniff test whatsoever.
