Which is exactly the reason to drive extremely carefully in such conditions, knowing that 90+% of other drivers never waltzed with their cars on ice or snow and may take a chance at any moment. I've seen them dance all around an intersection (is there an extrasection too?) when they got the green light. IOW, without any prior speed, momentum, nervous braking or anything. Just starting to move. And there was a whole millimeter of snow, maybe two.
