>I used robocopy to back up files on one computer to an external drive. Then, on another computer, using robocopy restore I want to copy files from the external drive to the hard drive. Some files give error "0005 Access Denied". I searched online for possible solution to this problem. One suggestion I found says the following:

Solution: When I right-mouse click on the file (shown in green and that has a problem Robocopy restore) then click on Advanced button, the check box "Encrypt contents to secure data" is checked. When I uncheck this box the font name of the file turns to "normal" color. And Robocopy has no problem with restoring the file(s).
