Hi,

I have two questions:

1. My SQL Server backup command syntax is as follows:
BACKUP DATABASE MyDatabase1 TO DISK = 'C:\Backups\MyDatabase1.BAK' WITH INIT
Do I understand that what actually goes to the file "MyDatabase1.bak" depends on whether, before the BACKUP command is executed,
I issued command?:

ALTER DATABASE MyDatabase1 SET RECOVERY FULL

or

ALTER DATABASE MyDatabase1 SET RECOVERY SIMPLE

2. Since I have not issued the SET RECOVERY command before backing up my databases, how I can determine the Recover Model of the database? That is, I would like to know if I have FULL backup or SIMPLE backup.

TIA.
