Hey, we agree on something.

Philly has a program in some schools where all kids get the free lunch, rather than figuring out which kids qualified. Some of the problems with the free lunch program are that parents have to apply and that it can be apparent which kids are getting it, which is a big issue especially in high school. In a school where most kids qualify, there's an argument to be made that giving it to all kids is a better choice than hoping parents will apply and kids will use it.
