Sure, one could recompile VFP to bring it into 64-bit (albeit with quite a few adjustments to get rid certain assumptions that might've been made because it was built for 32-bit) -- that is, if you had the source code (and considering that that there is likely enough proprietary information contained within it that it would be unlikely that Microsoft would release the source code)... Or you could implement your own p-code engine to replace the runtime (and the "compiler" portion if you want to continue development)...
