You were pessimistic about Android too. In the end, real life happens and sometimes our predictions will be right or wrong. Obamacare either will or will not succeed. Nothing we say or argue today will make a difference. My POV would be that I've been privileged to be involved in healthcare provision in several locales and the demonization of Obamacare is anti-intellectual IMHO. This would have been a chance to show the world how to get it right- but sure enough, the stumblefeet prevailed. Meanwhile the detractors and saboteurs who take pleasure in that ought to take a look in the mirror. That's not directed at you- I've already said we didn't do it- but there are people out there who have forgotten that you need to be careful what you wish for.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
