>>I believe it is a myth that they want us to believe that one is born homosexual. It is an acquired taste, and a choice, the same as pedophile and fetish and all other strange and unnatural and unhealthy desires. Even if a minor percentage indeed would be born that way, it is used as an excuse for the rest of the 99 %.

In one article described some male mice that would behave like females (though anatomically male), and females that would display male behaviors (even attempting to copulate with females -- though still being anatomically female), and that it appears that there were hormonal changes that had occurred that had an effect while the mice were being carried by the mother -- and that these hormonal changes might've been occurred because the mother had been subjected to various influences such as environmental stresses.

Somewhat atypical behavior, but often appears to be triggered when there are environmental stresses (i.e. shortage of food).

This research, as interesting as it seems to be, does not really add to the question if homosexuality should be viewed as OK, or even encouraged. I am certain there are various environmental, social and personal reasons why people end up the way how they end up. Having an alcoholic parent for sure results in a tendency of the child to become alcoholic as well. Even genetic disorders create those tendencies. Does this mean it's OK to be an alcoholic, or we should encourage this behavior? I think quite opposite, we should search for those issues and see how we can make the best out of the situation, avoiding the bad results those factors have on children and adolescents.

This does not mean to create hate or impose sanctions, the same way how we should not create hate against drug addicts or criminalize them, because that does not solve anything. But it is wrong to encourage it and to say 'This is OK, it's just a different lifestyle'. I am sure this will lead to a lot more problems in the future, which is quite obvious already the case here in the Caribbean.
