>If you want to understand the spirit of God, Kevin, you need to study the Bible. You're looking at things piecemeal and attempting to draw conclusions based on snippets. These will almost always be wrong because God is a very big God, and His teachings are exceedingly comprehensive. They are also spirit, which means they are not limited by the information conveyed upon the page via mere words, but they speak to born again believers in other ways which their "new spiritual eyes" allow them to see.
I find it interesting that you think God "gives each of us" a certain amount of pride.....and yet you feel you can judge if anyone (myself, or anyone else) is "exceeding the allotment". What you're showing is arrogance to the extreme.
Off the very top of my head, I could give you the email addresses of about 35 people who found work with some help from me. Even if lightning strikes me dead in five minutes, that's a damn good accomplishment. And hey, aren't people supposed to be judged by their "works" on Earth?
