Since my XP is in jeopardy, I figured I'd uninstall the Microsfoft Security Essentials and then installed Avast
(until I figure out what kind of new pc to get).

I then tried going into VFP9 to do some testing and I now get the following message:
"Unable to find c:\documents and settings\myname\my documents\visual foxpro projects\main.prg"

In fact \visual foxpro projects is empty. Should there be files in there?
And why should there be a "main.prg" in there anyway?
