Lutz, please let me know if you find anything.

Using a program like Memento database you can easily set a user up with a form to enter data and capture images. Memento saves the data as a .csv file and gives you the path to the related images for each row of data. If I could access the Android device directly I could just import that data automatically rather than having to rely on the user to manually copy the csv and images to the local file system. As we all know, the easier it is for the user the less support we have to provide.
